How long is the gift voucher valid for?
Gift vouchers are valid for one year, valued at the amount you choose (from $100–$550). When purchasing the voucher, I date it from 2 weeks later to give the couple a chance to contact me and start organising their shoot! If you are paying for the full cost of an engagement photo session ($550) at the time of booking, your couple will not be required to pay any extra should there be a price increase after your purchase.
Where can the engagement photo sessions take place?
All across Melbourne! Usually at gardens, beaches, parks etc, but I always ask the couple about the kind of look or location they envision, and will suggest locations that fit their vibe and vision. I also send them a handy engagement session guide to help them prepare!
Can I customise the voucher?
You can choose a custom saying, such as changing ‘Gift Voucher’ to ‘For You’ for example. You can also mix and match border colours, text colours and signature Nikki Russian Photography motifs. Just make a note in the order form below.
Is the gift voucher printed?
Gift vouchers are sent to you digitally in PDF and JPG form through email. I can absolutely print the voucher and wrap it up all pretty, but it won’t be an instant delivery and will incur an additional $35 for printing on thick paper, wrapping materials and mail delivery to either yourself or straight to the couple. You can also opt to print the gift voucher yourself at your local Officeworks or Kmart.
Will there be any other costs involved for the couple?
If you’ve paid in full for an engagement session (full cost is $550.00 AUD), there won’t be any more for the couple to pay. If they’d like their shoot to take place in regional Vic for example, or at a location over an hour’s drive there may be a travel fee, but i’ll give them the heads up so they can decide if they’d like to keep the shoot within Melbourne to avoid any costs.
If you’ve selected a value that does not cover the full cost of a session, the couple will be required to pay the remaining amount.
How do the couple redeem their voucher for their engagement photo shoot or party?
They simply get in touch with me via any contact form on my website, or direct via my email. I’ll then be in touch with them asap to start planning their engagement session!
What if the couple doesn’t want to have an engagement photo session?
Gift vouchers are non-refundable, and are not redeemable for cash or credit. It’s best if you suss out the couple to work out if an engagement photo session is right for them – you could casually ask if they’ll be having a photo shoot for their save-the-date invites or wedding website and go from there based on their answer.
My style is candid, authentic and fun, and I pride myself on making couples feel comfortable in front of the camera (even self-proclaimed ‘awkward’ couples) – so if the couple like to have a laugh, like candid, natural, romantic photos of themselves/together, and like keepsakes of their relationship you can’t go wrong! Pets are also welcome to come along too, so if they have a fur baby their adore and want some ‘family photos’ that might be even more incentive.
